Girl Throws Mom Off With Odd "Tantrum”

This little girl is only a toddler but her "tantrums" are already next-level compared to most.

Welcome back to Faith & Joy, a 2x a week newsletter that makes you smile no matter how hard you try not to!

Hey everyone,

Would you believe that dogs have made their classical music masterpiece debut? Not only that, but they did it with an orchestra! No, we’re not kidding.

A conductor has made the late great Mozart’s father, Leopold’s, wish come true with the addition of real-life dogs to their orchestra. Cookie, Sophus, and Sica showcased their unrivaled barking skills and earned themselves a place in Leopold’s Hunting Symphony. They opened the classical music festival in Copenhagen, Denmark and were an instant hit.

In other news, a prehistoric bird that has long been believed to be extinct has returned to the wild. These brilliantly feathered New Zealand natives are known as Takahē birds. Standing roughly 20 inches tall, these birds evolved on an island without the competition of land mammals and, as such, do not fly. In fact, they play out roles within their ecosystems that most birds in the world would not.

This past week has brought us some wonderfully odd news worth celebrating, and we’ve got more in store for you below. Enjoy! ❤️

ANIMALS

In a heartwarming twist of fate, animal control officers in Arizona stumbled upon a stray dog that had been missing for a whopping 12 years!

When the officers from Maricopa County Animal Care and Control found the senior dog, he seemed a bit shy and downcast, not even wagging his tail.

The story took a turn for the unexpected when the officer decided to scan the dog for a microchip. Lo and behold, the dog's name was Minion. Eager to reunite the dog with its family, the officer dialed the number linked to the microchip and left a message.

Not long after, Minion's owner called back, revealing that the dog had vanished in 2011.

The misadventure began when a maintenance worker accidentally left a back gate open, and Minion took his chance to explore the world. The owner's voice conveyed years of longing and the pain of losing a beloved pet.

The reunion was nothing short of magical.

As the officer cautioned Minion's owner about the dog's age and slower pace, the moment the kennel door swung open, Minion's tail began to wag furiously. The sight of his family after so many years filled him with unmistakable joy.

This touching reunion beautifully highlights the significance of microchipping pets.

SMILES

Being a toddler comes with its fair share of big emotions, especially when you're trying to navigate the world and its disappointments.

For Kelly Pabst's young daughter, the day's major letdown was not being allowed to watch her favorite movie. A simple pleasure, but for a little one, it's a big deal. However, instead of the usual tears and screams, this toddler chose a rather unconventional way to vent her frustration.

In a voice filled with emotion, she exclaimed, “You are the best mama in the whole world!” and followed it up with, “And you make me happy!”

Talk about a tantrum with a twist!

Kelly, caught off guard by her daughter's oddly kind outburst, struggled to keep a straight face. She later shared, “Trying my best to stay calm and straight-faced during this ‘tantrum’.”

It's not every day that a child's tantrum leaves a parent both amused and flattered.

The heartwarming and hilarious moment was captured in a video, showcasing the little girl's unique way of expressing her feelings. It's a delightful reminder that even in moments of frustration, kindness can shine through in the most unexpected ways.
